John Schmidt
VP, Global Integration Services
Informatica Corporation
 
Mr. Schmidt is VP of Global Integration Services at Informatica Corporation. He advises clients on the business potential of emerging technologies, leads in the creation of strategies for enterprise initiatives, and plans, directs and supervises Informatica’s Integration Competency Center Practice. His career success has been built on solving complex problems by deeply understanding underlying factors, articulating a simple vision and mobilizing teams to effectively execute tactical solutions within the corporate strategic context.
Mr. Schmidt has practiced as an information systems professional in Banking, Retail, Telecommunications, Education, Government and Utilities industries. Previous employers include Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, Best Buy, American Management Systems (now CGI), and Digital Equipment Corporation. He is Chairman of the Integration Consortium, has written a book and numerous articles on Systems Integration and Enterprise Architecture, filed several patents, developed Program Management best practices and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
 
Mr. Schmidt has served on the board of the Integration Consortium since it’s inception in 2001 and is currently Chairman.
 

 

Michael Kuhbock Chairman Emeritus & Founder, Integration Consortium
Principal, Integration InSite
Michael Kuhbock founded the Integration Consortium in July 2001 after identifying a business priority that industry trends were communicated with reliability and dependability. Since that time in his position as Chairman, Michael has led the organization to expand into an international standards and thought leadership body. The Integration Consortium now has over 200 members, partners and alliances including the most influential technology industry leaders, academics and end users. Through his efforts, the Consortium has grown from a vision into a leading global integration community.
As the lead of Integration InSite, Michael leverages his 21 years of business development experience to provide strategic and solution planning consulting for clients ranging from high-tech startups to global organizations.
In addition, Michael has authored for major computing and business publications, and keynotes at many leading technology conferences around the world.
 

 
 
Madeline Bayliss
Vice President of Sales, Solstice Software
Madeline Bayliss directs client and business development at Solstice through both a direct sales force and channel partners. During the last ten years in technology, she has created and led successful sales growth through a combination of strong process, delivery focus and a commitment to satisfied clients. Her expertise includes application development, testing, performance, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and enterprise applications. Bayliss’ success formula has worked at both large and small companies, previously being affiliated with Unisys, Compuware and Newview. An 18-year career at The CIT Group as senior vice president developed a detailed knowledge of the value of technology for improved process and service to clients. Bayliss holds a MBA in Marketing from New York University and a BA in Human Communications from Colgate University.
 

 

Ian Foster
SONA Program Office, Cisco

Ian Foster runs the Service Oriented Network Architecture (SONA) Program Office in Cisco’s Advanced Services group.  In this capacity,
he has worldwide responsibility for business strategy and development of services to support successful adoption and deployment of Cisco’s SONA.
 
Ian has been involved in sales, marketing and business development in different waves of integration technology, included CORBA, EAI and Service-Oriented Architectures, working for Fujitsu/ICL, Hitachi and Software AG prior to joining Cisco.  
 
Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK.

 
Robert Morris
SVP of Marketing and Strategy, GT Software
 
Robert Morris is Senior Vice President of Marketing and Strategy, responsible for the planning, integration, and marketing of GT Software product solutions to the global market.  Prior to GT Software, Mr. Morris held a variety of sales, marketing, and product management positions at industry leaders KnowledgeWare, Forté Software, ClientSoft (now NEON systems) and Jacada.
 
Mr. Morris has an extensive background in application development and integration including experience with CASE methodologies, distributed systems, as well as midrange and mainframe environments.  Mr. Morris speaks frequently at customer and industry events including Gartner Symposium, Java One, IBM Common, IBM Transaction and Messaging, and IBM CICS and IMS.
 

 
 
 
Steve Craggs
Founder, Saint Consulting & IC European Chairman
 
Steve has spent over 25 years in the software business since graduating from Oxford in Mathematics. For the majority of that time Steve worked for IBM where he had various programming, product management, strategy, marketing and sales roles, culminating in Steve becoming the worldwide executive in charge of IBM's MQSeries business, the market leading EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) suite of offerings. Steve then left IBM to build an application integration business for Candle Corporation before founding Saint Consulting Limited in 1999. Saint is a management consultancy specialising in all aspects of business integration software and numbers users and vendors across the world in its client base. Often referred to as "the father of messaging", Steve is well known in the industry, appearing regularly in the press and presenting at seminars and trade shows, and advising Wall Street investment analysts on the integration market. In 2002 he was appointed to the Board of the Integration Consortium, a not-for-profit global advocacy group for anyone involved in integration of any form spanning end user companies, vendors, implementers and academic institutions.
 

Dennis Attinger
Royal Philips Electronics
Dennis is Lead Architect for EAI in the Strategy and Architecture group of Philips Corporate IT. In this role he is responsible for the design of the EAI architecture at corporate level and cross- divisional across the five product divisions of Philips Royal Electronics. In 2000, Dennis designed the first JMS-based EAI backbone for Philips, which connects the integration solutions and ERP systems of the Philips divisions world-wide. The design concepts of this backbone were the basis for the design of the industry's first enterprise service bus (ESB).

 
 
Tim Siemens
Online Business Systems
Tim Siemens, partner and Chief Technology Officer at Online Business Systems, is a recognized authority in the information technology industry. With more than 20 years of experience, he is an expert in the latest technologies, service-oriented architectures, and technical infrastructures that underpin integration strategies and solutions. He has extensive experience in defining mission-critical enterprise architectures for complete solutions that integrate multiple systems.
Tim oversees the research and development of technologies used in state-of-the-art systems developed for Online's clients. One of his core strengths lies in his ability to research and examine technologies, and then determine their capabilities, the types of business challenges they will address, and the likelihood of market acceptance. Tim also oversees the selection of solutions and the development of Online’s methodologies. His technical proficiency has helped propel Online to the forefront of the industry.
Tim is an accomplished public speaker who conveys highly technological topics to both business and technical audiences in an engaging and interactive manner.
